Red Carpet Invitation

I had sent off another round of invitations to those on the "mailing list" yesterday afternoon to join this blog as Contributors. And this time it's a "Red Carpet" invitation as I had preceded the invitation with an email addressed to each and everyone individually! This must be at least the third time that I had sent out the invitations ...

I am most happy to note that Rita had replied to me almost immediately and that although she's not that internet savvy and is not really into blogging she will give it another try on account of my nagging persistence! She had actually tried once without success but would give it another go again this time for the sake of old friendship! Way to go Rita!

And even if you do not wish to sign up as Contributor(s) - too busy, too tired, too lazy, too important or whatever stewpig excuses; you can STILL participate in this blog by commenting on the posts or in the chatbox. Those who took the trouble to put up the posts would appreciate your thoughts or opinions on the subject matter. Actually it's up to you lah! But please give us an indication if you're actually reading the blog but do not feel inclined to blog or comment. This is fine. Free country and free will remember? Really? Hmmm

So do join us - we would be most happy to have your participation! We have rolled out the red carpet already - so what more do we have to do? :)

(Take pity on us as the red carpet is kinda heavy to move not to mention dusty as well! *ahchoo!*)

You can't teach OLD dogs NEW tricks?

People (our age?) tend to hang on to the old and familiar ways and are afraid to try "new" things or accept changes. In otherwords they GET OLD ... *sigh* They become rigid and unbending in their ways, thinking and habits. Too caught up in their own mind on their own self-importance, status and pride. Very sad ...

No wonder youngsters laugh/sneer at fudgy 'old people'! And think we're so uncool and boring like crap ...

Nevermind lah! We'll just keep on blogging here! For those who are still young at heart! And can move along with the times! And value the importance of the spirit of friendship, love and sharing.

If I, a busy architect with my own firm and you William, a successful top management guy can take time out to contribute to this blog; I do not see why others can't do the same. We also both have families (and dogs) and other social commitments. So do the other contributors (posters and commentators)are also busy people.

Don't worry - Be Happy! ;o)
