Happy New Year's Paddle

I wanted to go out for my customary new year's day solo paddle but Buddy wanted to tag along putting on his most pitiful look and whine. But my sea kayak's cockpit is meant for only one and so I set off without him. And two hours plus later, he was still sitting at the jetty waiting. *sigh*

What can I do but to take him out for a joy ride as well on my tandem kayak!
