30 Years Ago.... somewhere in the outback

While my 'doc' friends were burning their midnight candle and pouring their hearts out on their books, some boys just wanna have fun...

And I must admit.... it had been fun.

Today, it's tennis and golf, and travelling around with my sons and friends

Life is too short for the small stuff.... so lighten up and have fun, and start sharing your life and photos on our blog

P/S I trust there is no RSPCA persons around

What have the two of you been skinning in the first photo? Don't worry. Even the RSPCA will agree that wild rabbits are fair game (...they are wild aren't they?).

So that's where the decommissioned arms from the IRA have got to... :)

Cannot be rabbits.... it's foxes... think we get AUD60 for each. We do all the work and it ends up costing several hundreds as someone's fur coat

Don't you have foxes in England, em?

Ahh... we shot wild boars as well...in the hot summer

In the wonderful land of Oz.... all are fair game....

The second photo also dead foxes?

Yes we do get foxes. Not that I've seen them in the woods (as i don't tend to wonder round them), but have seen urban foxes quite a few times in London, and they do look 'well fed' I must say. A friend said that she's even seen them with their pups.

Even sea gulls have become urbanised! My daughter thinks it great when we throw the bread meant for the ducks (at the canal near us) into the air, so that we can see the gulls do their acrobatics.. and they're pretty good as well. The ones in DisneyParis were rather soo-koo. They just ignored these bits of flying bread, or missed completely. No second chance for them as the bits that fall into the water are fought over by the huge carps that wait expectantly in the water.

Second photo is bugs bunny alright... dead one

Ahh... defintely better fun things to do in Oz.... I even went scuba diving with friends a few years ago in Cairns, about 2 hours by flight North of Brisbane.

Plenty of gulls in Oz too..... well fed but will still take bread.... wonder how they taste like.... quails? Grilled pigeons would surely taste nice. Hear they are aplenty over there.

Its a good thing that guns are not readily available here with people like edmund around ... *sigh*

Perhaps he would be re-incarnated as a fox, rabbit or seagulls next time? ;)

I forgot to ask why you need so many rifles?

For the same reasons people need more than one set of golf clubs?

And not to mention kayaks!!
