Where the '74 & '75 'monkeys' from St Thomas's Secondary School in Kuching, Sarawak keep in touch and share their lives ... All former school mates of that vintage are encouraged to participate - its FREE but priceless!
I had to comment on this... I find it rather revolting when people criticise their own ruler. Unfortunately half of Americans today are excercising their so-called 'constitutional rights' to speak out irregardless..
They forgot that it is God's plan for us to honor those who are put in authority over us. All leaders are put in authority by God whether for good or evil. Unless they forced us to violate the laws of God, we should honour them.
King Nebuchadnezzer of Babylon was an evil King and yet God called him His servant
King Solomon wrote "The King's heart is in my Hands, like rivers of water. I turn it wherever I wish".
So trust God istead of being a critic. Check out the critics' lives. If they have no respect for their own rulers, they probably do not command the respect them of their own family and friends. And afterall, no one build a monument to a critic.
Remember no one is perfect. What you dish out will come around and hit you back. When you point an accusing figure, you'll have 3 pointing back at you.
So refrain from having a critical spirit... instead just use your constitutional right to vote... so register now to vote.
Look at what Mahathir is doing to our PM... it just discrediting our country and no honour is gained.
BA maybe we should censor political postings because I am lost for words...serioulsy I do subscribe to Edmund's views. This is borne by a very typical Singaporean trait - they like to criticise and complain (that why we are know as Complaint King) but when asked for a solution they are usually silent.. now that is being compliant!
As for Mahatir I suggest we just put him under house arrest
You know when this Harlan critized and asked the audience to watch George Bush in the video, I was watching Harlan instead. He looked like a very malicious & manipulative person. Would you trust him? ...with your daughter?.... watch his language as well.
Hope fh2o can tell the difference... between an honorable man and a worm....
yeah.... I can guess your political stand by your blogs... making us laugh is ok provided everyone can laugh together...like you said! If it goes against strong principles, then someone has to speak out.
It's said that evil prevails when good men do nothing.
No... I don't think evil really prevails here. Just that we are so easily influenced by the media. It's said that when a reporter reaches his office, he first removes his head.... and put it on again when he goes home.
U guys're getting way too serious and heavy here ... ;)
Sometimes things are not that simple and the world is (unfortunately) not as black and white as we think (or like them to be). There are a lot of grays and the world has a full spectrum of colours way beyond that of the rainbow.
We need to guard ourselves against fundamentalism which inevitabily leads to fanaticism - whichever religious or political leanings it may be.
Sorry guys, but when you are firm in your belief, you won't be swayed or confused by what's going on around you. And of course you won't become a fanatic if you love all mankind...

Okie okie ...
No need to get into a huff and puff ...
This is just a video with no other comments or remarks; posted on the public domain and created by the Americans themselves!
It may also be a sign of maturity to be able to listen to dissenting views - that constitues true democracy.
Let's not take things (as well as ourselves) too seriously. That would take the fun and joys out of life!
So lighten up lah!
I with you there, William.
